Horizontal dashed lines show the bounds of the TRT for N. depressus, and grey or hatched boxes indicate periods that would favour the production of male or mixed-sex hatchlings, respectively. The upper limit of the shaded and hatched boxes indicates a potential upper limit of 35°C for embryonic viability. The red dashed bar shows the nesting season (the solid portion indicating peak nesting) [21], while the period when our fieldwork was conducted is shown by a horizontal black bar.
